I founded GirlBridge Africa because I understand firsthand how life-changing educational opportunities can be.

As an African who has Cameroonian and Nigerian roots, currently living in the USA, I was fortunate to benefit from the generosity of others through scholarships and educational support. Those opportunities opened doors that otherwise may have remained closed and helped shape the person I am today. They allowed me to pursue my education, dream bigger, and build a future filled with possibilities.

Today, I am pursuing a doctoral degree in School Psychology in the United States. As I reflect on my journey, I recognize that I would not be where I am without the individuals and organizations that invested in my education and believed in my potential.

GirlBridge Africa was created as my way to give back. I know girls already have the potential. GirlBridge Africa helps remove the barriers between that potential and the opportunities that can unlock it. I want to ensure that more African girls have access to the same opportunities that transformed my life. Through educational support, skills development, mentorship, mental wellness initiatives, and access to scholarships and opportunities, we aim to help girls overcome barriers and achieve their dreams.

I believe that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. Every girl deserves the chance to learn, thrive, and lead, regardless of her circumstances.

When we invest in girls' education and wellbeing, we invest in stronger families, healthier communities, and a brighter future for Africa.
